Karibik-Kugeln mit AcerolapulverCaribbean Balls with Acerola powder

for 16 – 20 balls:
125 g dried figs (or unsulphurated apricots)
125 g peeled walnuts
100 g raisins
Lemon peel
3 teaspoons Acerola powder
Desiccated coconut


Put figs and walnuts into a bowl with water and let them soak for 1 hour. Pour away the water and put the soaked figs and walnuts into a mixer. Add the Acerola powder and rasped lemon peel of ¼ lemon. Mash carefully to a thick pulp. Finally, add the raisins and knead the dough properly. Form small balls. Spread the desiccated coconut on a plate and roll the balls in it. Store in a lockable box at a cool place and enjoy them soon!

Erdbeer-Apfel-Müsli mit AcerolapulverStrawberry-apple-muesli with Acerola powder

for 2 persons:
400 g natural yoghurt
2 tablespoons honey
10 strawberries
1 apple
6 tablespoons porridge oats
2 tablespoons walnuts, coarse ground
2 teaspoons Acerola powder

Stir the yoghurt with honey and the Acerola powder until smooth. Rinse the strawberries and the apple, chop them, mix them properly with porridge oats and nuts and stir it properly into the yoghurt. Decorate with the rest of porridge oats, some strawberry slices and nuts.

Heidelbeer-Banane-Smoothie mit AcerolapulverBlueberry-banana-smoothie with Acerola powder

for 2 persons:
200 g blueberries (frozen)
2 bananas
500 ml kefir
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons Acerola powder

Defrost the blueberries for 30 minutes. Keep some blueberries for decoration. Fill all ingredients into a mixer and mash them until smooth. Pour the smoothie into glasses, decorate with blueberries and serve at once, otherwise the blueberries tend to sink down (see photo).
